Monday, January 18, 2010 I gotta agree that 'Monday is so far away from Friday and Friday is so bloody close to Monday'. I don't mean to whine and complain but it's true. And I will not elaborate further, coz the statement explains all. Boring things aside, this weekend seems to zoom like a speeding bullet. Many things to share here.  Well, the last 06 gathering was like in October last year and someone said 'let's organise one in January'. I didn't expect Nicholas to remember that, but he did, and it really surprised me. Attendance wasn't as good as the last but nobody's complaining, it ain't easy organising events you know. Had a little trouble deciding on which movie, which timeslot to watch coz people are like 'I watched already' and 'I need to go by 7'. It was up to Nicholas the admin spec to decide swiftly and decisively that we are watching 'Law Abiding Citizen'. Hmm, sneak movie, nice timing and just the right number of tickets for everyone. Way to go, Nick.  Lun-ner brought along its own surprises, we dined at BBQ Chicken. Check this out. It's the Wonder Girls. I knew they have endorsed BBQ Chicken but I thought the restaurants are only in South Korea. Oh, this is a dream come true, the chicken must be good if WGs endorses it. I don't care, it is good, period.Then Ben went and Jasmine came. The movie was kinda awesome, it's about smart people trying to outsmart each other, and yeah the good guys (or should I say the last good guy coz the others died) win. So then after the movie, 3 guys zhao (poor miss I love NYC) and shortly after Gladys too went off. I thought we could have tried something different like K-box but the price is 'the f-word'-ing expensive so we set off for a cheaper alternative (Minds Cafe), which is like 2 MRT stations away; which prompted the longest standing class couple to go off. Fortunately Hui Min and beau came, so we should have enough players. No seats yet so we ventured further for some tow huay before I headed back to Khatib camp for sentry duty the next day. So that's my Saturday. ever wondered why?
